What is Wayfinders?
Wayfinders is a two-night retreat where 1st-6th graders get a taste of camp, with Gospel-focused teachings and activities being at the center. This retreat seeks to help kick-start a child’s walk with God or pour into an existing one, so that what they’re taught and what they experience will carry over into their lives and future. We believe investing in children and their faith journeys is investing into the church of tomorrow.

Speaker Info
Speaker: Jake Robinson
Jake is a native Arkansan who has served in youth and family ministry for more than 20 years. Nearly two years ago, he went all in on kids ministry by accepting the Kids Minister position at 2ND Baptist Conway. A big kid at heart, Jake loves the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Wars, and Nintendo—his desk is less "professional workspace" and more "awesome toy museum with a Bible." Jake's teaching style is a lot like snorkeling: he loves diving deep into a biblical truth, coming up for air with a relatable funny story, object lesson, or illustration to drive the point home, and then diving right back in. His passion is helping kids discover a Big God, grow Big Faith, and Big Fun along the way!
